# WHAT IS A KEYWORDS?
Keyword is a word which reflects or
denotes a certain type of objects, people usually type keywords in search
engine to find certain items or object they are looking for. For example if you
are looking for a holiday destination you might type (best holiday destination
for summer) it though is a phrase but it still acts as a keyword in search
engine.
Types of KEYWORDS-
There are 5 types of keyword in SEO but
can widely classified into 2 types
*LONGTAIL KEYWORDS (more than 3 words)
*SHORTTAIL KEYWORDS (less than or equal to 3 words)
Their main classification is down below:

relevance)

Phrase match (medium reach, medium relevance)

Exact match (min reach, max relevance)

Negative match (usually used to increase the relevance of the

Keyword density denotes by the number of times

piece of content as a ratio or percentage of the overall word count. This is
also sometimes referred to as keyword frequency, or the frequency
with which a specific keyword appears on a webpage.

Keyword frequency is how
often a keyword or keyword phrase appears on a
webpage or in a piece of content. It is important to limit how many times
a keyword or phrase
appears on a webpage in order to avoid the potential of appearing as spam or
getting flagged in Google for 'keyword stuffing.
WHAT IS KEYWORD STUFFING?
"Keyword stuffing" refers to the
practice of putting keywords many times in a webpage or in a piece of content
for manipulating the ranking of website on Google, keyword stuffing can promote
a website as well as harm the website.
PROMINENCE KEYWORD
Keyword Prominence: Keyword prominence refers
to how prominent your keywords are within your web
page. This means how close to the beginning of the web page, sentence, title, h
tag, or Meta description your keywords are
placed.
PROXIMITY KEYWORD
The keyword proximity refers to the
distance between the search term's individual keywords. ... The smaller the distance between a search term's
individual keywords, the
more relevant it will be from a search engine's point of view.
